Do you think samsung will release less curved version with that panel? It would be a perfect choice then.
Might be worth waiting a couple months, im sure there are new panels coming out this year

I hope so, im buying new monitors but there are too many shortcomings in every model. If i want great gaming IPS monitor with srgb mode i can choose LG but it have low contrast, there are others monitor with same or better color and contrast, but no srgb mode. Then i looked at va monitors, G7 is the best va panel, but too much curve, 1500r or 1800r would be perfect, i dont know why they dindt manufacture that.Might be worth waiting a couple months, im sure there are new panels coming out this year
No, as I believe the curve is intentional and not for style. VA has lesser viewing angles than IPS, as you move your head around the colours start to "wash out", if you view it head on, so full greed mode for gaming or other use this is a non issues and its great. The curve makes sure the sides are just as in focus as the middle and just off middle, so improves the colours and viewing experience.Do you think samsung will release less curved version with that panel? Too much curve, I assume you have set one up on your desk and used one then to feel this way?, if not, forget the pictures or reviews online, the curve feels natural and for gaming its the most immersive experience, I simply do not even notice the curve while using this monitor anymore, flat screens are unnatural and force you to sit far back because the sides are soo far away and your eyes have to refocus all the time for a different distance, this screen is uniform for your eyes.I hope so, im buying new monitors but there are too many shortcomings in every model. How it is to watch pictures, movies and reading texts? And how good is 27 size with that curve, do i need to position monitor too close to my eyes?Too much curve, I assume you have set one up on your desk and used one then to feel this way?, if not, forget the pictures or reviews online, the curve feels natural and for gaming its the most immersive experience, I simply do not even notice the curve while using this monitor anymore, flat screens are unnatural and force you to sit far back because the sides are soo far away and your eyes have to refocus all the time for a different distance, this screen is uniform for your eyes.
I do not use my pc for work, only gaming and general use browsing and entertainment. For those purposes it feels amazing, especially for gaming and content watching, watching movies, shows and youtube/netflix is perfect. I do not have any issues using and reading these forums on the screen either. Even MS Excel looks and works fine for me.How it is to watch pictures, movies and reading texts? For content creation i will use it only for programming. But most important thing besides gaming are watching movies and reading so i want to know how it feels doing this when compare with flat version. And is it better to buy 27 or 32 inch for that amount of curve?Do try to remember, Samsung never sold this screen for content creation, this is a gaming and general use screen, and for those purposes, it excels without equal IMO, the curve is NOT a compromise.

Does anyone else with a G9 and an Nvidia GPU have issues using Nvidia's Instant Replay/Recording feature in the Geforce Experience? Recording used to work for me (I've never tried Instant Replay until now), but it just starts the recording and then instantly stops. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the Nvidia Drivers/Geforce Experience but that doesn't fix it. Just curious if it has something to do with the resolution?
So I'm tempted to order a Samsung Odyssey G7 32". Just built a new rig and waiting on a RTX 3080 to arrive to finish it.
However I've read some issues regarding screen flickering and G-Sync not working? Am I better off holding out for a newer model which is likely to fix these issues? Has anyone here had issues with the current model but figured out how to fix them?
