Long time reader but first time poster in this thread. Our garden room is now almost complete and the biggest part of it will be a home gym, measuring c.5.5m x 3.5m. I've read through a lot of this thread and put together the below spec.

https://mirafit.co.uk/mirafit-m3-power-rack.html (208cm x 60cm)
https://mirafit.co.uk/mirafit-m3-7ft-20kg-olympic-barbell-silver-black.html
https://mirafit.co.uk/mirafit-black-olympic-rubber-bumper-plates-choice-of-size.html (2 x 20KG, 2 x 15KG)
https://mirafit.co.uk/mirafit-hex-olympic-weight-plates.html (2 x 10KG, 2x 5KG)
https://mirafit.co.uk/mirafit-folding-weight-bench-and-weights-set.html
https://mirafit.co.uk/mirafit-rubber-dumbbell-set-choice-of-weight.html (2 x 15KG)

Does that look OK? Gone for the M3 rack based on this thread and reading elsewhere, and can add attachments over time. Only thing I'm not sure about is the bench, and whether it's worth getting a better one than the one included in the package above?

Thanks all.

I'm about to order 2 machines for my setup tommorow :D

https://watsongym.co.uk/product/dual-cable-adjustable-pulley/
double weight stack, custom height 220cm (the black bars are removable/optional), 2:1 and 1:1 ratio pully able to do heavy movements AND light.

https://watsongym.co.uk/product/single-stack-leg-extension-leg-curl/
dark brown leather with bentley stitching

They said they'll re up-holster my Iron King bench too with the same leather as the leg curl/extension and I'm going to do a custom name and logo on them too.

I've been missing a pulley and Watson seem to be the best. I'm not too sure about whether to buy handles from them or not as they're expensive and 'thick grip' which I've never used before so will hold fire on them. For my gym, lifting gear wise I'm complete so I thought might as well concentrate on machines now. I have about 185kg of weights, half a tonne of dumbbels going up to 40kg, squat rack, 2 barbells, jammer arms, dip bar, pullup bar, landmine, glute ham raise attachment, 2 benches, treadmill, TV, weight tree, speakers all in now.

I initially tried to shop around for the machines separately but I've grown tired of how rude people are and how much the delivery fees are. Also my dimensions are tight, and I don't want to overtake the room with gigantic ex-gym gear, and the Watson stuff is the slimmest, best looking gear I've found.

My squat rack is proper scratched up from the stuff I've put it through (and mostly the jammer arms). Bit gutted about that but not sure what I can do about it now lol.

delivery time for the 2 machines is 20-24 weeks which gives me time to paint and decorate the room properly and get the money together.

can anyone reccomend some rubber gym matting?

my garage floor is covered in tough plastic/rubber floor tiles but they do not offer enough grip so my bench easily moves or my feet can slip when doing some bench or cable machine excersies.

Also anyone reccomend anything for sitting at a cable machine, my bench is about 2 inches too high for lat pull downs, the cable end goes past the pulley when im am reaching up.

Brand new stable mats. Around 18mm thick. Brand new, don't go for used. I fell for that and it was minging.

If you have a look at the mirafit machine, the bottom pulley is out further than the top one. So it pops over when I raise my arms.
**Edit**

Ah i see you have the wall mounted adjustable hi / low setup and can see sort of what you mean, your only real option is to sit lower as you seem to have worked out. If the little step stool isn't sufficient then just sit on the floor, use a pad if needs be to make it a little more comfortable.

i am indeed sat on the floor at the moment. it would be great if they make a leg brace that attaches to the front upright.

Thanks for the suggestion, looks ideal but real pain its about 14cm too high :(

As space is limited in my garage and the garage brackets means I only have a max head height of about 200cm.

Are you really that limited??? must be a really low roof garage! i mean min is low and i could just about get the mira fit one in, or the CF810, a little away from the wall as the roof is pitched.
