If modern conflict has taught us anything it's that a guerilla war is almost impossible to win.

I'm not sure if the Ukrainian people are prepared for a long drawn out conflict but they could make a Russian occupation very costly if they have the resources and organisation to make it work, especially with all the supposed munitions they have.

I think Zelenskyy will say or do anything right now to get support from the west, bringing up the sarcophagus of Chernobyl is quite apt because I'm pretty sure Putin is intending to put him in one if they can get his hands on him.

You can't just magically join NATO it takes time and I suspect if Finland started making noises they would be the next Ukraine as Russia simply wouldn't stand for it.

No one said you could "magically" join NATO, but do you think they're not aware of that?

Russia might not stand for it but realistically not much they can do about it right now either! Where do you think most of their combat troops are right now and how long did it take them to build up those forces?

Would be very bad if those things weren't distributed. The NLAWs in particular don't have a particularly long-range, but are super useful at attacking any Russian armour in urban areas.

Maybe they don't want to destroy key national infrastructure that they will then have to rebuild following the inevitable loss of a war with Russia, the Ukraine cannot win so needlessly destroying their own country is a waste of time this will be over quickly and there will be only one victor.
