Did Ukraine even have 46 unmanned Ariel vehicles? I thought they had about 20 drones max. Have the Russians been shooting large birds instead and calling them drones?

It's the usual nonsense: 'This is all NATO's fault because they broke their promise not to expand, so Putin was forced to invade Ukraine. The West is very bad, just look at the stuff they've done in the past. The West wants war because something something military industrial complex. Russia is the victim here.'
It sounds like you didn't watch the video. He directly states that he believes that arguement is wrong.
Where in that video does he state that he believes that argument is wrong? He spends a lot of time saying 'Here's one view, here's another view, let me know in the comments.'
And then in his video description he refers to 'NATO's expansion' as a factor which has 'potentially led to this invasion.'
I honestly don't care if he is. Brand is a very intelligent man with a great deal of insight and a lot to offer in terms of social commentary. But he's become a professional contrarian, and his takes on this issue are not great.

He tries to keep a balanced view. The point about NATO promising to not move East I believe is not really true though and he doesnt tackle that. That was mentioned once in a negotiation but never formalised.

It will be telling when contracts are struck to substitute oil and gas.
It wasn't even mentioned in a negotiation. Nor was it requested by Gorbachev.
He still is unwaveringly unbearable.
I like him. He's very easy to listen to, and he has the persuasive power of conviction. But he needs to wake up and start listening to people who really know what they're talking about on these issues.
