This stuff, quite tall 120mm stuff i got but fortunately got quite tall ceilings. What profile of skirting did you pick up? Architrave looks like standard square edge, same with skirting?

I can't stand MDF or chipboard. Give me some pallet wood any day much nicer. I plan on making floor boards for the attic from wooden pallets.Ah, real wood, huh? I tend to prefer MDF as it looks the same when painted, but doesn't end up warping in situ.
Is it fashion these days to also not use plinth blocks anymore at the bottom of the architrave? Will be doing a skirting redo at some point, so just scouting things out![]()

I've not had any issues with warping.Normally I would agree, but the warping always drives me insane. For places where strength doesn't matter, like skirting boards, MDF all day every day.

It’s great, we really enjoyed it.
That's good to hear! Yeah they're both old enough to appreciate it, and it's less than 5hrs door to door. Will spend a couple of nights with family too whilst we're there.
We did Eurostar which was pretty smooth.
Are you staying at one of the resort hotels?
