Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

I really don't get why people do that, blanking out a license plate except for the year as if your worth on this planet is tied to a number that's going to be surpassed by another number in 6 months time.

Lucky he's in the car business and not the photo business.

Looks nice, congrats. Update is on how many things are missing :o

Agreed on the photos, they are shocking and even worse he must have shrunk the file size before emailing them.

Absolutely nothing missing apart from the HK sound system which was already removed and not available to order back in October 2021.

It has the touchscreen and wireless phone charger. Got pretty lucky as I know earlier deliveries have been missing both. :)

I left the number to show its a new car rather than used. I blanked out the rest as I dont want to put my reg number up on social media.

Is your car green?

It's grey and as much as I can appreciate that a big engine SUV from a brand like BMW is an expensive, luxurious and fast car, I wouldn't be jealous of it as I don't personally dig SUVs. Saloons and mid engine sports cars are more my cup of tea.

It's just something I don't understand. I've seen people trying to delay dealers registering cars from factory (when it's on the cusp of new plates) in order to get a later number on the plate.

I understand blanking out plates to protect identity, I just don't understand the need to show the year of the car - each to their own :)

I wanted my car in october and no choice but to wait until march and the new reg to take delivery. My personalised number plate will be going on it later this week anyway.

Hi there

Went for a wonder around Curry's yesterday after my track day and ended up walking out with one of these:

JBL.jpg

Reason for purchase is my Corvette has an old 8 track radio player and the in car speakers are poor and the radio has a mind of its own so grabbed this as it can sit in the rear area of the Corvette.
Listened to every portable speaker they had and this JBL just had a real noticeable superior audio quality to it and also volume ability, it can also do 15hr of playback too supposedly, cost was £229, currently discounted.

Very impressed with it, should work great in corvette as I shall use the strap provided to anchor it down in the rear, will also help drown out the 6l V8 on longer cruises, not that is a bad thing. :D

P.S. It is a JBL Extreme 3.

I don't really get the blanking out the number plate, you can't do anything with it if you know someone's reg beyond recognising them when they are out and about. However, as the poster has a private plate it's even odder to blank it out.

However, can we get some interior pics @Greebo, and glad to hear you got the options expected. I'm actually annoyed I've not got the wireless charging, trying to find a wireless charger that'll fit in the centre console and just plug it in via the USBC.

My dad's had two instances in the last 12 months of being sent speeding fines for vehicles that were previously listed on gumtree, both places hundreds of miles from where he actually was. His plates were undoubtedly cloned, and the person who cloned them knew the make, model and colour of both vehicles, so knew he or she wouldn't arouse suspicion.

My DIY fast wireless charging mod for the car was brilliant (no bias, it genuinely was!) but with the new phone being bigger than the S20, it was of no use, and only one specialist was making custom units for larger phones. It cost a bit, but such is the way when there's no competition I guess...
