This October coming.

The cap is increasing by 50% April 2022 due to increased demand internationally but is predicted to increase by a further 40-50% in October 2022 due to the war in Ukraine.

Edit: To clarify my original point, I did say that Ukraine should sign an agreement if it is in there interest. I detest the actions of Russia but the argument that the British public will just have pay £x extra each month doesn't work when they simply can't afford it and the government aren't prepared to properly assist.

Or as a sovereign country you can do what you want that isn’t harming anyone else. As a result Russia is facing consequences that will hammer the country for a very long time.
