It was just yesterday I saw on Sky news that so many Ukrainians who had escaped the war had been caught by sex trafficking gangs.

I can't even imagine how that must make those who stayed behind to fight feel, to watch their wives and daughters leave the country to live with strangers, not knowing if they will ever see them again, not knowing if they will even escape the war zone or survive the journey only to get caught by some scummy sex traffickers in Romania.

These people need more help, this should never happen.

Seems a good cover story for NATO though, to build up munitions on the Ukraine border under pretence they are all being used to supply Ukraine, as opposed to a significant
counter insurgency preparation, but, getting China to realise their inaction to condemn Russia will cause them long term pain, remains path of least resistance,
West won't support the humanitarian&economic impact alone.

It issues around the 2003 Patriot vs Tornado shootdown have been solved for around about a decade at least (initially hampered by Austerity measures sadly) but there's always something new which could crop up.

Officially it doesn't have them. Still. That was leaked by someone in the know to the Sunday Times iirc and he was subsequently bundled into a black car and spirited away in London like something out of a spy movie only to show up in Israel later in court where he was thrown in jail and the key thrown away

Well yes if they got into a direct conflict and Poland was attacked the USA would be obligated to respond. Biden doesn't want escalation.

China neglecting to condemn the Russians for the situation is quite telling in itself, they keep saying people should not call them out, but at the same time they've done nothing to reject the idea that they support the Russian invasion.

If I was Ukraine I would be paying close attention to who steps up and who backs away from helping, when it comes time to rebuild I would perhaps be less inclined to deal with China for instance.
