Warranty wont cover burn in anyway. Usually hardware with me looses warranty day one due to mods ect. Like I turned off all protrection options in my oled tv using service remote hehe. Only burn is stopping me from getting tv as monmitor i got space to move desk even 3 meters away from wall ifi i want to. But buying new tv every year is kinda stupid. Assume one year will burn in C1 of mostly desktop useage.
5Y warranty vs basic 1Y warranty I'd not cheap out to save a little bit of cash personally, reputable supplier means more hope of something if it does get burn in.

My 55eg960v is ancient by todays standard but no upgrade for me as new oleds dont have 3d
And that is/was reason i went with it. Over 5 years with dimming and other safety options turned off and still no burn in as i only watch movies on it.
 as is my rooted phone
