Red bull were low fuel load on hards to simulate the latter part of the race to ensure the same thing as last week doesn’t happen.
 
The front suspension on the RB is very nice. I wouldn’t mind betting it’s helping the porpoising by keeping the nose from diving under braking.

I’m surprised they’re racing at a circuit where there’s been unrest in the last week tbh.

Attack by Houthi rebels: missile launched from a drone, apprently. Part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing war in Yemen.
 
Start of FP2 delayed by 15 minutes due to the attack. Some drivers reportedly believe the event should be cancelled.
 
F1 needs to stop selling its soul to countries whose human right records are terrible. This is the 5th race in a row in the Middle East ffs.

We’re racing here not Russia cos the killing the Saudis do is easier for the west to turn a blind eye to than Russias killing and they spend more money with us….

Only reason they canceled Russia was that they got cut out of the banking system and couldn't pay

Definitely, Hamilton complaining exactly about those issues, yet unwilling to actually do anything about it.

A missle could land directly on the track and F1 powers would do absolutely nothing. Drivers and teams really start needing to collectively kick up a stink about all of this because its becoming a bit of a joke thats putting lives in danger.

Agreed.

Man, I just watched the helmet cam of Leclerc's flying lap just now. Quite a few cars to get past too, absolutely terrifying!
