I think the US should have followed through with Project Thor so they'd be in a position to help more directly. Witnessing large tungsten rods travelling at Mach 10 shatter radar/EW systems, puncture command centres and make a mess of staging grounds would have been really cool.

Well I meant it more in the circumstance that we had to act against genocide, but even before then it could have been a useful stealthy tool that could do a lot of damage that Russia could neither defend against or retaliate against without looking ridiculous.

Those are very small destruction trails.. almost like the missile either hit something small or bits of the missile. Possibly a drone?

Still look at this way- if would be seen as direct action by NATO.

It wouldn't be nuclear and a good thing to have but nuclear powers may consider it the same as ICBMs ie a global threat.

Given 100% of the people here contributing are regurgitating data from the internet with some opinions then you're going to be plum out of luck. Those with knowledge see enough of it in the day job and wouldn't be posting it up here..

um, yea obviously. and in general it's a decent read, especially thanks to the likes of 007. i just find it a bit cringey seeing some of the stuff being posted by supposed adults. in the same cringey vein that the same posters pop up in almost every thread and immediately set themselves up as experts. you must admit it's a rather bizarre sight to behold. there's about 4 or 5 posters who crop up in almost every thread and suddenly become experts, everything from Covid to Racism to Ukraine. i suppose they need to use this sort of medium to massage their obviously delicate egos given they'd be quickly told to shut the **** up and **** off in the real world.

yea there's no issue folks discussing, and guessing. but it's when the usual suspects are framing their opinions as facts or allude or having knowledge over and above what they just looked up on wikipedia it becomes a bit weird and cringey!
