Just one example why we had this problem with the component shortage. This is very sad to see.
How exactly did one person get so many GPUs when people were on waiting lists for months? Some shops had a one card per house hold policy as well.

There is a very good chance you will see those prices for S/H cards.Of course I'd love to see a card like the 6600xt and 3060ti return to around 200-240 respectively but I don't think we will ever get there again. I wish they would as I would like to replace my 6 year old card. Saying that what I have is 5 years 6 months as I didn't buy on release.
Even so I must say it's still doing a credible job allowing me to play F1 2020 at max settings at 1440p paired with AMD 3700x.
It won't get any slower, you just may get something faster for the same money if you wait, but that's always been the case. You also get months of use out of it right now. No wrong choice, just what suits your circumstances.Bought a 6800xt from OC yesterday. Figured it’ll still be a great card when Ada and 7xxx comes out.
That's a massive upgrade! I'm stuck with a 5850, ok for office work, until the new generation launches.Thanks. Certainly a big upgrade on my 1660!
Yes I'm aiming for 5800X3D +7700XT. Should keep me going at 1440p for a while. I think anything around those kind of specs will last as there aren't that many games pushing the hardware right now.12600K+6800XT is a good solid option atm for sure![]()

The used prices are crashing in my opinion anyway. Seen used 3090 not selling at 920
No wonder as that’s way overpriced.
Seen them go for £700 and will only get cheaper when the 4000 series drops.

even though prices coming down and miners off loading their cards on lying Ba*tards bay, i find it really funny they have in their listing, " used for gaming only" yet they are selling 6 of the same cards when looking in their items for sale![]()
That's quite funny as it goes. Mostly because when there was a "Would you buy a mining GPU?" and loads of people said "No" the miners were quick to react with stuff like "You are idiots it doesn't hurt the cards at all !". Yet, when it comes time to sell they lie![]()
