I've just ordered the MSI Radeon RX 6700 XT Mech 2X from a competitor however, it was priced up at £352.30 with the promo games etc. It's just been despatched and I couldn't believe my eyes that they honoured the price. I was expecting a cancellation?
That looks to me like someone inputted their exc VAT cost trade price as their inc vat selling price, someone really messed up there, but great win for you.![]()
It seems so... surprised it was honoured? I'm in a bit of disbelief at the moment also didn't want to order from them, couldn't say no at that price.
Not looked at prices for ages, just saw Linus mention things had calmed down! Let's hope the prices stay low and I can hold out for a 4080/Ti
Congrats near 2080ti raster performance for less than half the price on the 6700xtJust bagged one for myself, upgrading from a 980ti![]()
It doesn't help that the £ and Euro have lost quite a bit value against the $
Maybe. I don't trust any of the big news outlets, too much money sloshing around in all these industries.GPU prices will be going back up again soon if this article is accurate

Move Over GPU Shortage, Here Comes the CPU Materials Shortage
Now would be a good time to talk to your local loan officer if you're planning a CPU or GPU upgrade later this year.www.extremetech.com

Linus et al, all on the gravy train talking out of their collective arses again about "things being good" etc, even though GPU prices are higher now, than they should have been on launch two years ago.
And people just lap it up.
Bet there's some incentives somewhere even if it's only a nod and a wink. It's not just Linus, they all doing it. Winds me up how they're all feeding us inflated prices for RTX4000 and RDNA3 aswell. 4080 @ £1000 .. it's like they are willing these prices into existance and if the prices do end up that high it will be business as usual.
