Those countries who purchased the many thousands of Russian tanks around the world must be hot on the phone line trying to get a refund haha

And those personnel who have to drive these death boxes must be praying every night they never have to fight

Without watching the video, I'm going to guess the flaw in question is it being an autoloader with no dedicated 'blow out' ammo storage compartment.

We shouldn't be rulling out some of these attacks are the work of the FSB (especially anything that results in the death of lots of civilians) to condition Russians into accepting stronger measures to support the war effort (think general mobilisation). Putin used the same tactics to legitimise Russia's war in Chechnya when security forces were blowing up apartment buildings across Russian cities and blaming it on the Chechens.

Ukraine's armed forces on Friday claimed to have destroyed 35 Russian tanks in a single day.

Ukraine, which regularly provides updates on Russian military losses, said on Facebook that since Vladimir Putin's war began on February 24, Russia has lost 1,637 tanks, including 35 in a single day.

From other sources the story behind it was Russia tried to break the deadlock south of Izium so they sent 35 tanks to take a strategic hill, the Ukrainians let have it only then to blast it with prepared artillery fire. Not all the tanks were destroyed but quite a few were captured and will surely get repurposed.

You’re right! Thats why Ukraine have chosen to keep shooting.
Ofcourse it would be stupid for either side to stop shooting at this point, it's why those suggestions in the comments are ridiculous and will never happen without some kind of talks.

It would be quite sensible for the Russian side, especially if there were a coup or Putin were to die.

If you as the aggressor want peace, then one of the fastest ways to achieve it is to do exactly that, indeed it's one of the traditional ways you do show that you want a peaceful outcome, in that you might offer a ceasefire for at least a short time to talk, it's happened untold numbers of times.

If you as the aggressor want to claim that you want peace, then you'll keep saying "we didn't invade, you forced us to conducted a special military operation that is only different from an invasion in that we've not declared war, but we want peace", whilst continuing to target civilian areas with indiscriminate weapons and killing civilians.

At this point the only way Russia is going to get anyone to consider that they may be serious about peace is for them to offer a ceasefire and stick to it, until then about the only people who are likely to trust them in anything they say are those who are a bit gullible.

I wonder who is making the most money? A wise general once said it was all a racket.

The US defence industry, oil/gas/coal producing nations and China are not exactly suffering because of the war. Some US and Middle Eastern businesses are also profiting from it.

It is concerning how many have an interest in seeing especially Russia but also the EU bleed through prolonging this war.

Those doubting the scale of Russian tank losses, etc. if the images/video of the damaged vehicle park at Dzhankoy are anything to go by those numbers likely aren't far off the truth.

Having a ceasefire and sticking to it is going to come through talks and that is why I said.

You cannot expect the Russians to just stop shooting and walk out of the country from the goodness of their hearts, this is a war.
They have piled a hell of a lot of resources human/financially/militarily into this and they will want something in return.

Sure you can want for that to happen but for anyone to expect it.....is ridiculous.

Extremely interesting tactics.

Russians had fallen back to mass artillery ground and pound. So Ukraine, with I am assuming HIMARS, is taking out ammo depots rather than the artillery pieces as Russia isn't camoflaging them to silence guns that way.
