They are going to show it on the upcoming episode, but damn, hitting a wall at 75mph and only suffered a broken rib. Lucky git.

I wondered about that when I saw the angle and speed of the car in the trailer - was definitely unrecoverable.

We also turned it off, what an absolute load of bottom-drawer, low hanging fruit junk that was. In fact I'm pretty sure it even irritated me

This special felt the closest to the original Top Gear ones for me, That Evo deservers getting fully repaired after what it went through and kept going. Out of the Trio seeing James May crash was the biggest surprise, nasty bump there with smashing his head on the b pillar.

Two bits that felt fake or felt that way was when Hammond was in his shed 'going down' the ski slope and when they cut to Clarkson driving down the top of the ski slope looked like it was CGI'd.

I thought it felt very fake, even by GT/TG standards, and things like the "ski caravans" seemed rather like they were just retreading old ground. Still, it got a decent number of laughs, and it was entertaining enough but it does feel like a format that can't sustain itself that much longer unless they can come up with something to refresh it a bit.

I enjoyed it. Still the best automotive show on tv.. top gear is half dead, haven’t even finished the current season.
