Managed to get a pre order for the afternoon, wait a bit for it to be processed. Then went in and asked to collect early.
Now got my 14 pro 512gb

Would be really interested to hear from those (especially you LiE as a fellow Fuji Filmer) taking delivery of the 14 Pro Max and what you think of the new camera. It it's a blow out the park difference from the 12 Pro Max I may consider upgrading but if only a subtle difference I'll pass. I'm sure before long there will be reviews comparing the two and loads of image samples to compare.
Apparently the Mini didn't sell very well so they have killed it off and introduced the Plus at the other end of the scale. If rumours are to be believed, the Plus isn't selling too well either (or rather, preorders are low), but maybe that's just because it's even less exciting than the Pros and it's being released later. Wouldn't surprise me if the Plus does sell fairly well in the long run.

That's impressive from Portrait Mode. Normally it makes a dog's meal of the edges but that, at least at that smeller res, honestly almost looks like it was shot on my f1.2 56mm. You'd have to be an experienced photographer to spot things not quite adding up.
