The Ukraine war has some rationality and some delussion. Note Putin stationed his troops on the border for months. Why? Because he was seeing if NATO would send peace keeping troops. They did not for months. He saw America leave Afganistan. Only when he realised there would be no NATO response did he invade. He had already taken Crimea. His rationality was he could take the rest of the Ukraine. If he had bargained on Ukraine having superior weapons and training he would not have done so. They did get to Kiev too, so they possibly weren't that far off achieving their objectives. If they had carried this same invasion out in 2014 they possibly take all of the Ukraine. If not for HIMARs and other such superior weapons, which came to use later he would be holding the land bridge and vast resources of gas and oil that the region has.

The issue with surrendering to Russia is surrendering equates to a likely genocide. So surrendering doesn't necessarily equate to saving anyones life

The other issue is, when a town or city is nuked is does NATO forces wipe Russian forces off the face of the planet? Does China break relations with Russia?

The truck on the right was going up when it blew.
I don't think Ukraine would do a suicide bombing.

To me. It's either planted explosives or a exploding drone boat.
