The last game you completed, and rating.

out of the blue completed gears of war 5. imo the franchise.was at its best over gears 1 and 2, with 3 still being good.
gears 5 is a slight improvement on number 4 and I was leaning towards a 6.5 or even 7 out of 10 but it's ending was just so ..,."MEH". we had no warning it was coming and just ends mid story.

this isn't lord of the rings..... I don't really want the story of my game to end half told ready for the next game which may or may not come.

so to me gears 5 feels like part of a game that was not finished.

Some bugs but had fun. done 96% in around 50 hours of play. 6.5/10 (would be 8/10 without bugs).
Just start Assassin's Creed: Origins as I got it free(prime gaming). dont normally play Assassin's Creed games but it seems good so far(5 hours in).
 
Assassin’s Creed Origins - 9/10

More than makes up for slight shortcomings in storytelling and RPG elements by the sheer brilliance of its gameplay mechanics and world design.
 
Horizon zero dawn for PC. Think I would have given this a higher score if I played it on launch but having played the likes of FC5 and AC: Odyssey inbetween I can't help but feel I've seen it all before. 7/10
 
Just finished Wolfenstein The New Order - enjoyed it. 7/10. Played well on PC and Steam Deck. Worth getting cheap. Big game with some lovely visuals.
 
Horizon Zero Dawn, 8/10.

Combat is amazing, robots feel fun to fight and each one freels like a unique mini boss, open world not so good and is just there for the sake of being open world.

I found it incredibly repetitive after a while, and I was trying to like it :(
 
A Plague Tale Requiem - 8.5

I played this on Game Pass with a £1 offer. This is certainly my kind of game. A linear experience with incredible graphics and a good, well voice acted story. If you enjoyed the first game, you'll love this and if you're anything like me that isn't one for stealth you have a lot more combat options to play with.
 
Vampire Survivors - 9.5/10

Highly addictive and complete chaos, I've never seen so many enemies and effects on screen at once. It was almost blinding. Another Game Pass gem that I would never have known about.

Subnautica Below Zero - 8/10

Not as good as the first because I think I had an expectation of what was happening. Still amazing game and style.

Raft - 10/10
Really loved this one, the whole art style and building I liked, the ability to automate everything really made me feel like I was progressing.

oh dear, Steam reckons I spent 177 hrs playing RDR2. Defo got my moneys worth then.
And i didn't do everything!!
