Perhaps this has already been discussed but I assume not much benefit of changing out a 5800X to 5800X3D playing at 1440P with a 3080?
Take what I say with a pinch of salt. Based on the reviews benchmarks I've seen all the 5000 series (5600x, 5800x and 5900x) are in a similar ball park gaming wise.
However the 5800x3d is in a league above.
Much better minimum, average and max
I mostly speak about the 5600x as that's what I was upgrading from.
However I think the biggest advantage of the 5800x3d will be the minimum frames.
I was a bit on the fence if I should upgrade or not as my 5600x doesn't seem to be holding me back especially when you add gsync as well but it's done now. Couldn't resist.


Stopped using ocuk tbh as delivery/dispatch was very slow, like 4 days to dispatch where as competitor gets it dispatched same day.
