Underrated/cult movies?

Half the stuff here is really highly regarded already and nothing like a cult or underrated classic.

Also a cult is technically less than a minority so you'd need to have a fairly small, yet vocal/passionate fanbase for a movie to be a cult classic. Think some crap like Wiseaus 'The Room' which edgelords jump on to somehow elevate their movie tastes above everyone else - it's a terrible film by any metric but deride it and it's you that's the problem because 'you just don't get it'

With that said, cult classic is used so loosely with movies, it doesn't matter too much.

I wasn't about to start calling people out but yes some of the titles above I'd say are quite popular well known movies.

But hey there are no fixed rules, it's all good.

Ronin

Enjoyed it when it was at the cinema but for some reason thought it was a "lesser" De Niro film after the likes of Goodfellas and Casino. Now looking back I think it's a classic. Understated European thriller, practical effects, and superb performances all round.

Ravenous
Cube
Frailty
Thirteenth Floor

Few years back when my wife was nighshift Christmas Eve, I found Cube (possibly Cube Zero) on C4 and watched that. It's not a film I actively seek out but if any of them are on and I stumble upon them I'll usually watch them, or if I see them on the planner I'll set to record.

The thing most memorable about this is how they horrifically mispronounce Hereford :D
