Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [21st - 23rd January 2023]

Very hard to say. City have been off the boil a little and the rest of the classic "big 6" are all having questionable seasons. Its certainly a very impressive achievement but this is a cracking Arsenal side that are performing at just the right time. They are a very young side, hungry and all working really well together. I don't get the impression there are any egos in that team.

Arteta has done a really good job but it feels a little like the stars have just aligned this year for them. The transformation from last year is stark.

Definitely a tricky one with Arteta being much younger and he was getting called a fraud and all sorts the past few seasons.

He would overtake Mourinho as the youngest manager to ever win it.

Arsenal deserved winners. Played much better than us throughout and had bags of energy.

Will they win the league? Come back in 10 games and I will tell you. If they can maintain this level and stay injury free in the right areas then probably.
Yea I've said here many times that let's wait and see where arsenal are at the middle of April

I’m sad United lost but the bigger picture is I prefer Arsenal to win the PL over City.

Good game today, United still have lots of work to do. Still need a good No.9.

Didn't close down the wings and were always exposed.

Anyways, Arsenal "had" to win, which they did. And fair play to them.
