Had one Wednesday evening, had an old bag of the pre packed, light the bag ones. mine is a cheapo but it does have a good range of Hight levels for the grill.
The common mistakes imho are throwing the food on too early when the coals are still catching and cooking too hot so surface black inside raw.
obviously they are terrible for bowel heath but i reckon the Pinotage will kill me first and i only do maybe 4 bbqs a year
