Not that it will make much difference but that was 15 unnecessary runs
Yeah England will be about 4/5 down by close of play. Not that it will make much difference but that was 15 unnecessary runs
Yep, with discipline and well over a day to play that is a target that could be chased down, as the pitch is in pretty good condition(especially for day 4) the problem is our batsmen seem to have lost all discipline.Yeah England will be about 4/5 down by close of play.
This is garbage test cricket to watch as well, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce.
Then again Stokes may have been doing himself enough of an injury to force him to not chase every ball. It may be genius self harm.Yep, with discipline and well over a day to play that is a target that could be chased down, as the pitch is in pretty good condition(especially for day 4) the problem is our batsmen seem to have lost all discipline.
This bazball lark is playing on their psyche. It’s like they feel they need to prove it works all the time. They need to accept it doesn’t.Yep, with discipline and well over a day to play that is a target that could be chased down, as the pitch is in pretty good condition(especially for day 4) the problem is our batsmen seem to have lost all discipline.
that looked plumAnd the start of the collapse begins
Was it ever and we still persist people like with AndersonBeautiful bowling
Who would you replace him with? It's not like we've got Starc and Cummins pottering around our county teamsWas it ever and we still persist people like with Anderson
Yeah I agree, but he's an awfully long way short of the Aussie attack. Wood always looks too nice to me. He's quick but doesn't move the ball much - he doesn't look like he bowls "heavy" deliveriesWe might as well give Mark Wood a run out next time.
take your pick from Matthew Fisher, Saqib Mahmood, Olly Stone or Sam Curran. we shouldn’t be looking at a 40 year old as the answer especially someone that looks unbelievably out of formWho would you replace him with? It's not like we've got Starc and Cummins pottering around our county teams
Yeah, I think we need to start blooding players like that, and Sam Curran falling out of favour has been odd, but equally bringing players with minimal test experience in for the Ashes is a big risk. I get why they've gone with Jimmy, I think they need to strongly consider changing him out for Wood or Curran for the next test (although it's Headingley next, I think? Probably Jimmy's best ground?), but I don't think the decision to play him to date can be too heavily criticisedtake your pick from Matthew Fisher, Saqib Mahmood, Olly Stone or Sam Curran. we shouldn’t be looking at a 40 year old as the answer especially someone that looks unbelievably out of form
