On what basis? Yes, he takes it cleanly but play hasn't stopped by the time he's grounded it - he's still moving. It's bad fielding. That's out for me ... and I'm praying for an Eng win.

Agreed if he lands and the ball pops out nobody questions for a Second that he’s dropped it some rule applies if he drags it along the ground. Not sure what all the temper tantrums are about. On what basis? Yes, he takes it cleanly but play hasn't stopped by the time he's grounded it - he's still moving. It's bad fielding.

Yeah fair play on the rules, no argument.Absolute scenes at Lords today! Not happy about the Duckett decision (though I understand the rationale) but I'll take 4 for 112 as good progress. Game on!
The rule says you have to be in control of your body as well as the ball.
Agree. It's more comparable to taking a diving catch and failing to keep the ball up. The fact that he should easily have been able to avoid grounding the ball and didn't, is just down to poor fielding. No idea why there is all the bleating about that catch. He grounded it. Comparing it to a wicket keeper throwing the ball in the air after a catch is frankly ridiculous and tells you everything you need to know about his bias.
Why are we even questioning if it's out. Australia lobby is crazy
They need to play this restrained bazball and not get tempted to have any chance.Fair play to Stokes and Duckett, they are batting this game right out of our hands.
Stay classy.England's hopes rest with a ginger psycho and a poisoned dwarf, god help us.
I really shouldn't post stuff like this. They need to play this restrained bazball and not get tempted to have any chance.
