Its one of the reasons the Sherman had a 75mm gun , it fired HE far far far more often than any anti tank round, and the 76mm Sherman HE round wasnt as effective (neither was the 17 lb`er and its HE)

They would have to be checked, reconditioned before being cleared for safe in use. Unlike Russia they would need to be checked so they don't blow up in transit.
 
What percentage of the people in UK do you think support the Russian side in the war?

Asking because recently Navalny's FBK asked some people in Germany and France what do they think about Putin and around one third said positive things about him. It's a questionable result as previous studies showed far smaller support for Putin.

You would be surprised, on my footy forum I'd say it's at least a 50/50 split , all the pro Putin mob are in the tin foil hat, hate the west/ love communism, climate change is a hoax brigade.

They genuinely believe they are fighting Nazis, always funny when you show them some Hitler/Stalin love and they don't know how to reply, that and zelensky is Jewish...
