Have you got proof for the Terminator working well?
I don't believe I ever said it worked well, I said it was one of their more successful weapons in this war, it isn't a high bar :P

Pretty much the only thing that has covered itself in glory for them is the MiG-31, which ceased production in 1994 :P

The reports I have heard from more than once source is that its pretty much a scatter gun in effect. Its not stabilised so the moment the autocannon opens up it loses all targetting accuracy.
Do you have any source for that? As pretty much everything says they're stabilised (on both axis) and I tried to find something contradictory after the previous guy claimed the cannons weren't stabilised and literally the only result I got was his post in this thread xD

I think you really underestimate the effect Russia's loses have. The UK lost 0.75% of its population in WW2, enough to finish off the empire.

Poland was the worst at 18 odd percent and Russia 15%.

Nobody would suggest Russia is finished, but they don't have limitless manpower, in fact they had a general manpower shortage before the war even started.

Russian losses are barely 0.1% of its population yet (depending a bit on which figures you go by), though it is estimated ~0.5% of its population, many of them young adults in their prime for either military service or skills, have left the country since this started. Russia can stand to lose a lot more yet before it has much impact on their ability to fight this war, there might be consequences later, but that is another story again. Same with a lot of the financial/economical stuff, which might have a bigger impact in peace time and might have a sting in the longer term but won't have an impact anything like people think while they are on what is essentially a war footing.

Today, Shaibik was awarded a volunteer award for the help he provided to our brigade and, in general, to our military personnel from other brigades, including. Maybe I'm wrong, but this is probably the first time in history when a cat was awarded a volunteer award, and that too during the war. I am proud of my furry friend, who was able to help our heroes in such a way, who are in great need of our support. And we really hope that these cars, and many other things that we were able to pass on to our boys thanks to Shaybik, will be able to save many lives and bring us all closer to public victory. Glory to Ukraine, thank you to everyone who supported us, it's all thanks to you friends, in unity our strength

The real hero

Why low bar, the bar is set high when you consider the lancet.

I had a quick look but TBH it was a long time ago, probably 6 months, might even have been last year

It was go pro footage of one opening up. It sprayed a forest basically and loads of branches and tree chunks fell down. Actually thinking of the forest it was probably late 22.
If effective means bombing the opposition with deforestation its certainly effective ;)

Actually you can see an equivalent in the original predator film. The bit where they totally emptied on a small section of forest and flattened it. Thats not far off ;)

I will look again but its a bit of a needle in a haystack as I think its the only actual combat footage I have seen of one.
I suspect they are in the same warehouse as the also very effective T14s ;)

Poland appear to be investing very heavy in their military, it seems like every other week they've placed an order for significant quantitites of one material or another.

Poland went from allocating 2% of gdp to defence before the war started and they are currently sitting on 4% of gdp for this year and will increase to 5% next year

They've overnight doubled their military budget and will eventually almost triple the pre war budget. That means there is a lot of cash to go around. Imagining if the UK decided to triple its military budget, they'd be able to get a lot more kit

I think "struck" seems like an over estimate but it looks like the drones got close enough that when it got destroyed the shock damage from the explosion took its toll as the Samum. The ship looks to be a weird angle in the water.

The Bora class are surface effect ships, so that they partially lift up out of the water when going full chat, so if it’s being towed at a much lower speed, then it probably will sit that bit lower than normally anyway.
