If the X56 came without the rubberized surface I would've kept it but it couldn't be cleaned and wore away very quickly.
I used baby powder on it.
Mine is an original Saitek (pre Mad Catz) and has pretty much warn off now.

One too many drinks i reckon!Drunk CIG dev at a bar citizen:
limited base building next patch (3.23, March)
Server meshing, also next patch...
CIG version of upscaling TSR, DLSS 2 and FSR 2, next patch.
*Hick*
One tailored for there engine only will be better than a generic one that works on all gamesWhy are they doing their own thing instead if using the DLSS3 etc that is already out there and working wonders.
DLSS3 doesn't work at all at moment in their build. They had huge issues with it because Vulkan has only just got reflex API which is required to support DLSS3.Why are they doing their own thing instead if using the DLSS3 etc that is already out there and working wonders.
I had the Saitek X55 and it had the same problem, the rubberised coating started to become sticky over the years regardless of how you cleaned it (or didn't). Logitech just seemed to ignore this and keep on manufacturing it the same way with the X56. shame as the Rhino's where decent sticks, it's like the company testers didn't use their own products.

That is why DLSS2 and FSR2 are being used etc. They will look at DLSS 3 or it's next generation when they are closer to release.
TSR is something they were working on years back before FSR 2.0 even exist so assume they just kept it because they had already got work done. Ali hasnt explained the differences tbh.
Not sure why offering three options is bad though?i
CIG version of upscaling TSR, DLSS 2 and FSR 2, next patch.
Ah. No worriesIt's not, it's due to how I read:
I read that as they were doing their own version of each of those.
No . rewatch the star engine citcom .It's not, it's due to how I read:

Good old CIG. Usually rewrite everything...and break it...but then fix it many years later. No . rewatch the star engine citcom .
They specifically said they are making there own one called TSR but will also use the ready available DLSS 2 and FSR 2
I expect everything CIG have claimed by summer 24 (assuming they mean September Q3 patch for Pyro/SM) to be end of year 24 tbh and anything else wont happen but that still a large chunk of stuff (most of list below they suggest for Q1 & Q2 patches).I'm not expecting huge things this year, I think it'll be a lean year but hope I'm wrong.
Certainly not expecting SQ42 despite promises.
Honestly I have no issues with M+KB, but I don't particularly do anything high-intensity other than easy PvE bounties.I apologies in advance for the question....
Is this out yet?(My mandatory annual question
).
On a serious note, is HOTAS mandatory for this or can I play on a gamepad and keyboard?
I do have an X56....
Really? Can you control a ship with a mouse?Honestly I have no issues with M+KB, but I don't particularly do anything high-intensity other than easy PvE bounties.
