I basically did the whole thing seated (which adds to my positive experience of my AliExpress saddle!) as I realised it's really hard to 'climb' out of the saddle whilst the bike is still effectively flat. It just feels weird so I never stay out of the saddle for long.
The only way I can explain the sensation is when I'm on Zwift and I'm out of the saddle it feels more like a sprint than outright climbing. When I'm doing a real climb the tilt of the road and the way I stand changes my centre of mavity which makes it feel more comfortable and/or efficient with putting power down. It just doesn't feel natural to me to hold that position whilst the bike is levelThats weird, i've never had an issue climbing out of the saddle on Zwift and I really don't like riding for more than an hour at a time because I find its really uncomfortable. If I ever do AdZ I tend to be coming out of the saddle periodically from about 1/2 - 2/3rd of the way up just to give myself a break and hit some slightly different muscles. I guess its never for more than a minute at a time though.

The more I think about it, if I'm riding IRL I rarely get out of saddle when it's flat unless I just want to do a sprint effort. Probably why I find it so difficult standing up on the flats
Yeah I'm not making one! I think it will feel more comfortable on longer rides as I think your core starts doing some of the stability work, rather than just having my backside plonked on the seat (which I have tried to change and failed, different story). Gets a bit numb at times.I've seen people on reddit sort of budge a rocker plate using tennis balls and such.
I'd like one to help with the side-to-side movement but I literally have maybe 2-3" of space above my head on the bike (when I'm sat upright)
I’m thinking of a rocker plate for mine. Decent outlay though if I end up not liking it. Read a lot of very mixed reviews.
Yesterday was more than usual as I was still arranging Sauce windows. But then I wanted to change my bike after I'd finished the climb portal. Also, for some reason, the companion app seemed to freeze and wasn't connecting properly to my ride. I killed the app, opened again and it just didn't detect me riding. What do you do on the laptop that you can't do on the companion app?
I’d start with the best of intentions but would end up being an unfinished project, cluttering up my garageSeem simple enough to make yourself if you've got the tools from what i've seen? Just some MDF sheets, hinges and tennis balls.
EDIT - Ignore, i should read later replies before posting!
Yeah right. They are probably best then. I used to use a music sheet stand I got cheap on eBay to hold an iPad before I changed my set up. I run the game through Apple tv so just use a remote control.Yesterday was more than usual as I was still arranging Sauce windows. Also, sometimes I'm in System and watching something on Plex that needs me to interact with it. Often I just need a mouse, not the keyboard/laptop.
I'm thinking something like this or this perhaps.
Yes, I use a stand like the second link. Does the job perfectly well and can be folded up easily.Yesterday was more than usual as I was still arranging Sauce windows. Gorby but shorter is what I do.Hey guys, looking for some "easy" Vo2 and threshold workouts on Zwift. I seem to be perpetually slightly under the weather at the moment so things like "breakfast returns" and the "the gorby" are just a little too much for me right now. Any thoughts?

Just edit the Gorby but yes make them 4 minute or remove a block as well what ever you feel like.As in 4 minute blocks instead of 5?
Do you just create a custom workout?
