It’s just so ******* tone deaf, at a time where most of the world is tight on cash, Sony releases what is the most expensive console in recent history without a ******* disc drive so they can play Last of Us 2 again with a few more pixels
They’re just showing what happens when there’s no real competition. Same with the Nvidia and AMD and the same will happen when everything goes digital only. Greed rules and everyone ends up being a loser eventually.I don't think Sony read the room.
£700 PS5 Pro will be the best way to play GTA 6 when it launches so I’m in.
Don't worry they'll be releasing TLOU 2 Remaster Deluxe exclusively for PS5 Pro.It’s just so ******* tone deaf, at a time where most of the world is tight on cash, Sony releases what is the most expensive console in recent history without a ******* disc drive so they can play Last of Us 2 again with a few more pixels
Aye. I mugged myself off with GTAV on PS3/4 and 5 and I have still yet to finish the main campaign. I'll sit on it till the 6 releases.I'm genuinely in awe of that price, £600-650 was my guess. I suppose the fortunate thing is that unlike their last staggeringly expensive hardware release, PSVR2 (that it got no mention in the video tells you a lot) it should be fairly easy for developers to add some level of support for it in future games. As with PS4 Pro though, I think anyone pinning their hopes on every game in their existing catalogue to be revitalised by it will be sorely disappointed.
New PC GPU for me next year then.
I'm in my late 30s, time absolutely flies by so as much as I'll want to play GTA6 at launch if it's a less-than-ideal experience on the base PS5, I'll just make consider a PS6 game instead. There won't be long to wait.

November 7th.Did they mention a release date?
Unless it's some massive ruse by Sony to give a big Foxtrot Oscar to all the scalpers - good luck with that because no one will want one!November 7th.
I've done exactly the same with GTAV. 3 different versions and never finished the campaignAye. I mugged myself off with GTAV on PS3/4 and 5 and I have still yet to finish the main campaign. I'll sit on it till the 6 releases.
Maybe they didn't mention it because it's only a 10% uplift.Need to see some scores from Digital Foundry but what on earth has happened here - I was expecting a slight bump in the CPU performance to help the hefty GPU but alas no. Sony getting slaughtered on social media and rightly so.
I tend to only play the campaign. Completed it on PS4 then on PC when that version released. Spent 24 hours (not consecutively) on the PS4 one to 100% it.I've done exactly the same with GTAV. 3 different versions and never finished the campaign![]()
PS5 Pro will also launch with the latest wireless technology, Wi-Fi 7, in territories supporting this standard. VRR and 8K gaming are also supported.
