It's not a big deal and im sure its genuine, but customs is hardly a end user problem. If a launch is the 7th then you expect stock available for then.
Plus since the stock went in the first 10 minutes, given demand I'm pretty sure you could class it as that to some extent.

Yeah I seem to remember slower sales where they have retroactively given day 1 purchasers a code if a promo has gone live shortly after launch, but doubt it's going to happen here.
I don't mind, we all no doubt have big back logs!

I paid £750 for my 5950x during COVID when I had FOMO due to shortages. Retail price mind you.

It’s the first decent gaming cpu that actually pushes up performance in nearly 2 years such has been the disappointment of CPU launches lately.
I splashed out a bit on one of these today, I upgrade my PC about once every 6 years(now upgrading from 2600x and a vega 56 which overclockers had on black friday sale many moons ago) and thought I'd treat myself and splash out another £40 to get the shiny new one. But I'm a bit horrified at what some of you (and hey, each to their own!) Are spending on motherboards for it.
If I buy one of the cheaper motherboards at £120 or so instead of spending hundreds am I genuinely missing out on something if I'm not running some crazy overclock?

You'll all be double dipping when the 9950x3d comes out in January (18% more performance apparently)
I seriously doubt it for gaming.
Didn't say it did? Consider reading my previous comments, was purely an enquiry to see if there was any such plans as with past product launches.

When did I miss this crazy deal on the Hero? Ordered one today along with the CPU from OcUK at 14:07 but didn't hear about the Hero (mis)price?
Will be interesting for sure to see what BF bring this year especially for 4080 deals. Might as well smash the savings balance harder now that I've got this chip coming soon.
Was a couple of weeks ago now, I half expected it to be an error and the X670E show up instead.

Anyone place an order now WILL NOT get a CPU next week, it shall now be week commencing November 18th. So only pre-order if your happy with this.
