Been waiting for this one, on a S22+ currently and I usually upgrade at 3yrs.

Saying that, other than the odd blip in battery it's been a pretty solid phone. See what the trade in etc is like.

Strongly considering upgrading, currently still on my s10+ (1tb) battery has started to drain a faster rate now, been using accubattery for a few yeas and it's estimate for the battery capacity is between 65% and 68% atm, but last few weeks I have noticed myself struggling more to get through the day without a good top-up,

got abit over 5 1/2 years out of this phone so thinking its about time for a newer model, will be sad to lose the 3.5mm Jack but I would like a high refresh rate screen, have as High Refresh rate monitor and it's properly been one of the few features on newer phones I've wanted.
 
Even had a birthday 15% code emailed although don't believe those worked with pre-orders historically.

Still seeing very little reason to upgrade from S23U, unless they put out offers that you can't refuse.
 
Had an email fee mins ago offering me the chance to double up their voucher codes from £200 to £400... think it's spread out over the phone, buds, tablets etc

Seems really poor so far compared to the s24 series preorders

Really hope they do something decent, turned down £500 trade in for my s21u on a pixel 9 XL pro.
I think I made a mistake really and I had another 30% off voucher. Had it in the basket for £269.....

The email could be clearer.

Seems like it's just offering to double the discounts available, mainly the phone from £50 to £100, like you said.

I don't see why they present it as an option.

Meanwhile, here in Ireland if we register our interest we get entered into a draw to win a €1,000 voucher. We really do get shafted on pre-order offers (and trade in values)
 
I have have a S23U, so I'm not sure how much of a improvement the S25U will offer and what launch benefits. I just cant help wanting to upgrade within reason.

I'm not sure of the design, look like an iPhone, and similar to most other cheaper phones due to the screen.
I hope they offer some good gifts, the S23U had nothing really.
I hope we can get the larger online discount we had on the S23 launch

Can I use the birthday 15% code ?
I assume Samsung will only allow 1 code ?

Second gen matt screen coating

I would say the matt screen would be the biggest upgrade

I was expecting more.
I thought the S25u would have had I improved design and spec considering its the 15th model. its starting to feel a lot like apple now.


I though the screen was going to be flat on the S25U. CPU wont make a huge difference in my option on a smart phone for most people.

In your option the screen is the biggest upgrade, which does not say a lot, considering you are going to be spending £1200+ to upgrade. I'm saying this but at the same time I'm still considering a upgrade. :cry::D

It's a very stale update. Hold on to your S23U.
 
They usually dynamically change the vouchers and trade in values after unpacked anyway, to incentivise more pre orders.
