Samsung Galaxy S25 Family Thread

Has anyone received the code or will they be sent nearer to the time.

I was expecting more.
I thought the S25u would have had I improved design and spec considering its the 15th model. its starting to feel a lot like apple now.

I though the screen was going to be flat on the S25U. CPU wont make a huge difference in my option on a smart phone for most people.

In your option the screen is the biggest upgrade, which does not say a lot, considering you are going to be spending £1200+ to upgrade. I'm saying this but at the same time I'm still considering a upgrade.:D

Agreed, let's see what they give you as trade-in after the 22nd

I have an S23 with 256GB, no issues with it, and don't really see a need for upgrading purely for more memory or storage, but still keeping an eye on the S25 launch in case there is some half decent trade-in and pre-order details.

I think the tipping point would be if there were to add the matte screen to the model, but I doubt that will be the case. I'm done with the Ultra phones in terms of size, cost and hardware - I just don't need it, and the + just doesn't appeal on the size point.

Leakster Ishan Agarwal, speaking with retail insiders, revealed that Samsung will drop Bluetooth functionality from the S Pen, which means features such as gestures and remote control will no longer be available.

What a fantastic move by Samsung if true...NOT

Think I'm leaning towards an S24 ultra right now. The cameras, pen etc arenot showing big enough differences so far. Current fold 5 I'm using isn't doing it for me neither.

It's like they are trying to see how long they can get away with offering less and less every year, just gonna throw more AI gimmicks in

There's not enough to pull me in to get the S25U this time round. I've had pretty much every flagship from the Note series to the S ultra series at launch and every time it seems to be less and less of an upgrade.
The only thing that have got better are the trade in prices and freebies.

Having had the S24 ultra for almost a year now I've had zero issues and I'm not bored with it at all, it has no marks or scratches and looks just as good as it did on day one.

I'm going to hang on at least until the S26U or when there are some proper upgrades and not incremental.

if that is the case, the S pend would be a useless feature.

This was the reason I never purchased iPhone is the past, now Samsung is doing it more and more, maybe I should look for something else maybe a Chinese brand.

Same boat. The fact it's pretty much the same device. Seems pointless splashing money out really?

Maybe see what the Pixel 10 holds?

I read yesterday that the S25+ will have the Exynos chip in Europe - not that it's been bad in the S24+ I have currently, but one of the reasons I wanted to upgrade to the S25+ was for the Snapdragon chip

At the moment more rumours point towards Snapdragon everywhere this time, I won't belong until the spec sheets leak (they usually do before launch)

That is a pretty big thing for them not to mention

Not great imagination from Samsung

And at least the S25 is lighter and a tiny tiny bit smaller compared to the 24

I love my S24U but I would not call it faultless. The anti reflective coating wearing off and creating what looks like permanent smudges has happened to me and it can happen on every handset from what I've read.

Average battery, poor charging speed are the other two things that annoy me.

Doesn't look like Samsung will be fixing all 3 things in the S25U so I'll give it a miss.

Having upgraded to the latest S* Ultra every year I see nothing exciting with this year's model.

Samsung appear to have stopped innovating , the OnePlus 13 looks far better especially considering the current price .

I'm currently on the P9Pro XL having sold my s24U ultra. It is decent but it has performance issues some times , the only alternative I see is the op13.

Hopefully the s26 Ultra will be more of an upgrade
