Ofcourse it is. There is nothing exciting about this generation whatsoever.

I think the 5090 will probably remain tricky to get for a while longer, but I really don't get the hype for the 5080 and down. 10-15% gain in raster from the previous gen refresh, no vram increase and still massively expensive. Big ******* woop.

For sure, I am closely watching the eBay 5080 market and it’s drying up of mad buyers. That bubble is close to popping for AIB cards, the FE is the only model to earn some profit.

Once the scalpers are done, we just hope the retailers will lower their prices to shift stock.
 
Ugh, I might have bitten at £2599 for the Windforce. Yeah, I know, I know... just hang on with my queue position for a Palit at £2150. (Un)Fortunately, the stock dropped while I was on the Tube without a signal.

If you hang tight that money can get you an Astral or Suprim other places. Windforce (despite imo good design) so the entry level model that should be close to or at msrp.

I do have a Palit 5080 on preorder, but hope prices stabilises sooner.

As I am closely watching the eBay 5080 market, I get a few seller offers with lowered prices… those scalpers can keep dreaming!

A few Windforce models have come my way over the years (1080 ti, 3080 ti, 4080)... always bottom-barrel cooling, normally right at FE or a bit below. I wouldn't pay a hair over MSRP for that card.
