Can you get laser lights on a 2019 onwards X5? If so, was it part of a pack?
Yes, it’ll be part of the visibility pack.

I'm sure I saw some listed with pack which didn't have them. Could that be due to the silicon shortage, or simply a mistake by the dealer?Yes, it’ll be part of the visibility pack.

Great find, thanks! Explains why I'm seeing some without them.If you're looking at AUC, there are unlikely to be mistakes (although it's possible) as the AUC website just pulls the specs through from the VIN.
The best thing to do to understand specs is look at the brochure, I've found one dated July 2020 (so it may differ slightly on 2019 models): https://www.carparisonleasing.co.uk/files/b64/BMW X5 Brochure July20.pdf
It looks like Laserlights (Page 26) are an additional cost but still part of the visibility pack. So yes, it's possible to have the pack and not have them! So the pack is £650, but jumps to £2000 if you want Lasers (or £1350 on an M50i/d).
M3 going? Can you get laser lights on a 2019 onwards X5? If so, was it part of a pack?
I was looking for a friend actually, he's looking for a tow car for his GT4.M3 going?![]()
Valid reasoning. Try and get the most out of it though as I think you'd really miss it.I was looking for a friend actually, he's looking for a tow car for his GT4.

I am also weighing up options.
I'm considering all options. I've just been browsing C8 RS6's.Valid reasoning. Try and get the most out of it though as I think you'd really miss it.
Or, if able to, get another Tiguan or something for your daily driving? Essentially, find a way to keep it as it's quite a special M3.

You could argue I'm too old to be driving an F80 M3 looking at some of the current owners.I mean that is an option, but... Audi? I know you're getting old but surely not that old yet?![]()

Isn't it basically a Porsche version of the Tiguan? We already struggle for space in the Tiguan without a roof box on it if the dog is in the boot.Macan?

I want to tick V8 of my list really while I still can.Yes so if you need more space it won't do the job.
Cayenne would be the next shout but I'm not personally a fan of the gearbox on it. The DCT PDK in the Macan is significantly better than the torque converter in the equivalent ~2017 Cayenne which is an Aisin unit I think. Also mega upkeep costs which I wouldn't say are worth it.
Toureg R? Potent engine too and smart cabins.

Macan is noticeably smaller than a TiguanIsn't it basically a Porsche version of the Tiguan? We already struggle for space in the Tiguan without a roof box on it if the dog is in the boot.
