NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Question guys. Does the name on the receipt have to match the name of teh person claiming warranty. Having a debate i am saying they have to match but person i am debating with gave example of a dad buying something for a son where the receipt is in Dads name and son is claiming the warranty

Just seen a very large online store drop ASUS TUF OC for £3099, got it in my basket saw the price and bailed. At this rate i will just drop the gfx settings and go with a 9070XT for no reason other then i am peed off with Nvidia
Be mad to pay £1000 more than the cards rrp

Shouldnt matter in this case? Just get dad to claim the warranty?

I think it depends on the company. More likely that they will accept it if the last name atleast matches. I have bought stuff with my older brother's account before in his name and billing information and registered and claimed warranty in my name and they have accepted.

There was a drop of Palit Gamerock 5090s overnight at a different competitor - one we haven't seen much movement at - which, interestingly, was at a price much closer to what the competitor with the queues took pre-orders for (£2300 vs £2150). Possibly a hopeful sign?

and in expected fashion my expected delivery date was pushed a day again this morning. Im sure there just guessing and have no clue whats coming in when and where

that is what Gift receipts are for in some retail and you register your product when you receive it but in my business we only honour warranty to the person we sell the item to

5090 Astral there a short while back in the French jungle.
Surprised it stuck around for a bit, even had the option to check it out and refresh a few times.

Interesting date on delivery though. End of April. Hardly in stock and ready to rock.

With AMD about to launch the 9070, I wouldn't be surprised to see a sudden influx of cards and a steady decline in prices.

Been keeping an eye on prices for my 4090 on CEX (where I would prob sell mine over ebay) and noticed they are offering more now than the 5090 launch date.
If I wanted to buy a used 4090 from there, they are wanting £250 more than I paid for it new over 2 years ago!

My 3090ti has gone up by £40 on there which is nice as I've not chopped it in yet. Once again the lazy and disorganised approach pays off for me!
