*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

Can get 146 fps at extreme settings native in MW3 and 134 fps in BO6.

Also about 70-80 fps in Avatar at Ultra FSR Quality setting.

But I have tweaked it in Adrenaline to get another 10-14% out of it depending on the game.

I will be missing out on FSR4 if I don’t upgrade but not sure how widely it’s going to be implemented to be useful in games (also whether it is actually needed- in my case 100 fps at supreme in Indy Jones is great and no need for upscale).

I’m conflicted and very confused at the moment.
Fsr4 is about picture quality improvement using upscaling instead of software solution that's fsr3

@Gibbo - are you able to give us the good/bad news on whether the RRP is realistic today? Realise you mentioned you were having a nice extended weekend and hopefully data today from your partners :)

Doesn't have to be exact, but it'd be good for many of us to know how much money to put aside for the coming few days ;)

Well they have already changed Asrocks cards prices to £6,996.35 & £6,492.79 if it's like last time with 10x actual thats £699 and £649

I think FSR4 might be coming to the 7000 series, because on AMD's own presentation, there was a FSR4 toggle in Adrenaline on a 7800XT
Around ces time they were asked specifically about it, and i believe the answer was that they would try to bring it to the 7000 series, but couldn't guarantee it as its hardware based and the 7000 series doesn't have the same level of ai hardware

650 is a little disappointing if that's the cheapest card, though I don't know that the steel legend will be the cheapest. 699 for the taichi wouldn't be bad though if that's an indicator of the higher end card prices.

I'd be careful re that as did the same thing for a 6700 series and ended up upgrading the whole machine as it was too powerful for what I had and it was causing all sorts of stuttering in games...

should be fine, 7700, 32GB. Slightly concerned if these are hinting at the prices. £700?

it's either gonna be a weaker model or done expect the same uplift but less fps gain

The asrock non xt cards have had the same treatment. The challenger non xt is 5892 and 5989 for the steel legend

I'd imagine that is a hint as I'd expect them to be £589 and £599 respectively (or something similar).

True UK RRP after conversion, vat and the added shipping costs is likely around the £580 mark afterall

Edit . Hope it isn't hints as that would be awful. Just realised those are for non xt cards.

It seems odd to have their own models so close in price unless the only real difference is aesthetics, otherwise everyone will just go for the better reviewed card for the sake of a tenner.

Though on saying that, I'm sure plenty of buyers won't even look at reviews.

Honestly its a shame if the 9070xt doesnt hit the 599 mark, BUT even £649 in people's hands for an AIB aftermarket model doesn't sound that crazy, when you consider the 5070ti is bare minimum £800 in peoples hands, and many of them are selling for £850+

I'd still love to see some hit the magic 599 mark, but if reality in the UK is 649, at least for the initial launch rush...well...I get it.

I mean I'm used to the AIB (especially higher end) tax being around £50-100 on most cards, so if the Taichi OC is £699, it seems fairly likely most other cards except maybe ASUS (as they're a joke), will be less.

He’s posting non XT prices, so about £50 too high. This is OCUK and if their 5000 series launch day prices are anything to go by, not actually that bad ;)
