Got a few days break booked up in Edinburgh including a couple of meals at The Witchery by the Castle and The Dome. I've eaten in both of those places on a previous trip but it would be rude not to go there again.

Yes, in the Vestry room. I was only living a few miles away so at least transport was cheap. Had a two night stay.

It is pricey. Was a treat for my partner who always wanted to go as she done a film job there a few years ago. To be honest I would have rather stayed at their sister hotel Prestonfield House.

What makes me happy is getting a good deal on FB marketplace yesterday, driving an hour to collect it and finding out is was actually genuine, and the bloke gave me a load of extra spares I wasnt expecting in the price!

The new Avantasia album (Here Be Dragons) came out today. I love that band so much.

I saw them last night. Don’t think i have ever sung along so much at a concert. They played for almost 3 hours, one of the best concerts ive been too.

I do love a biscuit that fits in my mug without first nibbling or breaking in half.

One of the reasons we bought Ikea mugs that have a vaguely upside-down cone shape. Being wider at the top means almost any biscuit can be dunked in the top half of the mug without problems.
