Started this last night (albeit on console).

Really strong opening from a story perspective. I'm only an hour or so in, stopped last night after taking a fall.

I wasn't sure if that part was supposed to play out as it did or if it was just being a bit janky

The conversions are all a bit stilted etc but I'll get past that. Love the feel of the game so far. I lost the duel to Hans not sure how, it felt like I did really well but eventually lost

It is slower in GPU limited scenarios because the patch disables REBAR (probably some oversight).

You can enable Rebar via nvidia profile inspector

find kcd2 profile. rBAR-feature = enable, rBAR-options =0x00000001 , rBAR size limit = 0x0000000040000000

This made my performance shoot back up to where it was before patch.
I expect hotfix to fix it soon, but in the meantime it takes a minute to fix it yourself.

Well, that was fast. Patch 1.2.1 is already out that fixes the performance drop, so no nvidia inspector is needed anymore.

I just had a fight for the thunderstone and after the fight it just displayed the loading screen and Henry was non stop panting (from fighting).

I had to cntrl alt delete the game

I got kingdom come 1 free on epic games a while ago but haven't played it. Should I play it before buying kcd2?
