Temu

Actually impressed ..... had this in my basket for a week for £15.00 had a note through saying reduced to £4.17 so no brainier to order it. Too big to come by air so was transported by rail with Free postage!!! Arrived today and wasn't expecting much but it is 15M it fits perfectly with no leaks and doesn't kink like the one it is replacing. They must have made a loss with this.

I like some of the stuff you get from TEMU but hate the games and offers tactics.

Just add the item you want in the basket and leave it there for a few days and wait for the ridiculous price to come down.

Did a few youtube video on them, win some and loose some. Always ask for refund :P

Ordered like 7 items off Aliexpress a couple of weeks ago that turned up and would say that overall was ok value however the website is horrendous to buy from. Loads of items have a welcome bonus which disappeared when adding to the cart as well as bundle deals which wouldn't let me order 1 unit. Ended up getting literally 80 emails over the last 2 weeks about the status of each product. Temu is a 100% better experience but I would deifntiely be very careful what I was ordering.

I've only done one order from Temu and it was fine. Though I find I default to AE. Always been consistent and I've got a few good bargains on there

I've ordered some camping stuff from AliExpress, but after a lot of research. Tent cost me like £90 and held up some crazy storms, and a ultralight camping quilt which isn't far off some of the more expensive models.

The tent actually held up better than my UK bought tent at 3* the price!
If you're willing to share the result of your hard research that does sound like a good deal!

It was a lanshan tent, they're available in the UK too now. Just considerably cheaper on Ali express.

And a flame creed quilt, think there's a new version now. The straps are awful though, hopefully they've fixed this.

Temu USB C cable being used to charge a vape melted today - vape is fine but the end of the connector has black scorch marks and is partially melted

The app is a bit mad with all the spin to win nonsense and random floating notifications, but it's normal on desktop.

I've bought a few things - big mouse mat/desk mat, some retro Santa Cruz t shirts (nice quality but not cotton so they're a bit toasty, but they look genuinely great) for holidays, some fake foliage plastic mats I use as backdrop in a terrarium, oh and a Short Circuit Johnny 5 fake Lego robot.

All been fine, all shipped at reasonable speed

Actually I'm wearing an Oasis t shirt from Temu right now.

I've bought a few bits from them, mainly things like cable management and just had some pegboard fittings arrive which seem pretty good quality (waiting for the pegboards to arrive).

I wouldn't trust temu/ali express or a lot of random amazon sellers for anything mains powered or electrical though.

I've only placed two orders with Temu. The first order was placed because there was a deal on an RC digger, and I thought it would make a good toy for my daughter. I ordered that and a few other items because I had to spend a certain amount (£10) before anything would be shipped to me. Other than one item being damaged, everything arrived as expected. The RC digger is actually great for the price I paid (£3.64). My second order was made because I wanted some budget-friendly handheld fans for work and Temu offered better prices than eBay. I ordered those with a few other items again, as I had to spend a certain amount (£15) before anything would be shipped to me. After this, I discovered AliExpress and have since found it preferable to Temu.

Thanks for the post on the pressure washer line! You've reminded me to order some pressure washer bits from Temu.
I'll add them to the basket and see when the price drops.

Bored. Thought I'd have a look at what all the hype is about. Downloaded the app and was presented by sixteen billion offers and games and coupons and vouchers and discounts and specials and and and.

Can I just buy something? Don't be silly, you have to complete the Jungle of Offers level first. Closed the app.

This evening, about a month later, thought I'd have a look, exactly the same again. It just goes on and on, it's insane.

Closed the app again.

Anyone actually had decent success with it?
99.99% is junk and belongs in the bin.

I had one of the metal pegboard sets I'd ordered from Temu arrived earlier, it seems on a par with what I'd looked at in B&Q but less than half the price :)
