What PC games are you playing?

just finished the 2 campaigns on tempest rising, it was awesome fun, good old fake command and conquer with lots of quality of life improvements and got high on life to play as well got it for 1,55 on cdkeys a while back and the little i have played of it is very fun and amusing :)
Been keeping an eye on this giving how many hours I put into some of the early C&C stuff. Worth checking out then?

its not as hilarious as the old c&c but the game play is spot on, i have spent 33 hours on the campaigns, i hear the multi player isnt great but havent tried that part yet and theres been a few patches since i started it:)

Just started playing Surroundead, great audio and feels like Project Zomboid in FPS style, but I'm struggling to like it. Seems to be inconsistencies with being spotted and using a gun is a near instant death sentence lol Melee combat is clunky. I'm not sure if it's worth spending the hours to get into it, which is a shame as I love these type of exploration games.

Nice one, cheers. I'll check it out at some point then!

A few weeks ago I decided I wanted to play through all the story missions and any side missions on the GTA games I own on PC. I'm working through them in reverse order because GTA V was the only one installed when I made the decision to play through them all. I finished all the missions on GTA V pretty quickly because I had 11 days off work when I was between jobs earlier in the month.

Last weekend I wasn't at home to be able to make a start on GTA IV, but I made it to the start of the missions on Algonquin this afternoon. Call me a nutter, but I prefer the driving physics on GTA IV, even though nearly everyone would say that they are too exagerated. Also, GTA V doesn't have the swing glitch, so there is that.

I'm planning on not buying any new games and will work through any old ones I would like to revisit, so early next year I can invest in a PS5 ready for GTA 6. Hopefully, GTA 6 will have driving physics somewhere between those on GTA IV and GTA V to offer a bit more of a challenge over GTA V.

Completely agree on the driving physics of GTA IV. Exaggerated? Yes. But also fun and it gives the cars a real sense of mass.

Played about 16h of Planet Crafter in about 3 days. It's another example of a game that I acknowledge isn't particularly brilliant in any one area, and yet it keeps me hooked.
Perhaps due to the casual nature of it, who knows.

Given up on Surroundead. Seemed like little character development and the Roblox style graphics and clunky mechanics aren't for me.

Got Sons of the Forest ready to play, but also looking out for more. I enjoyed State of Decay 2 (Juggernaut Edition), perhaps I'll revisit it with the new graphics card

I've got Days Gone on my wish list and on sale, but wondering if there's anything newer worth looking at? 7 Days to Die is also on my wish list and on sale, is it any good?

I just finished the main story of "The Precinct", and i really enjoyed it! It's like a combination of a few games, it does nothing new, but it was good fun.

Ran really well on my Steam Deck, and I'll still boot it up every now and then for a shift of giving parking tickets :D

Rematch - still rubbish at the game even with learning a few more mechanics, there's a distinct lack of control in various scenarios, they need to add more customisable camera's and better control options for passing/lobbing in my opinion.

Maybe they like it how it is, but I don't you basically have 100% control for shooting and that's it, the rest is a lot more up in the air, I think basic passing should be the easiest thing in any football game.

The Alters - This has the worst hitching, lock ups of any game I've played (3-4 seconds at times) playing the game pass version, only a couple of hours in, but will wait for the issues to be resolved before continuing (if I ever do)

Days Gone is solid, 7D2D is good but even more janky than Enshrouded.
DUNE Awakening is Enshrouded in the DUNE world , im finding it very good after not really digging the open beta.

Thanks. I reinstalled State of Decay 2 but only played 10 minutes and uninstalled again. Just not feeling it anymore.

I'll have a look at Days Gone.

Haha, I know its not a great resident evil game but me and the missus played through RE5 when it came out and it is pretty good fun in co-op!
Co-Op would be fine, but I wasn't blown away with it and 6 when I completed them on the 360.
I much prefer Revelations 1/2 if I want more linear run and gun, 2 is very good. I recently replayed both.
