*** Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Thread (it can fold and everything) ***

I've owned all the previous fold models so I'm a bit pot-comitted at this stage :-P So I just ordered my fold7, I like the oppo find n5 that I have now but the overall experience with colorOS15 isn't as polished as samsungs UI and it has lots of little bugs that all add up to a less than perfect experience.

Sure it cost me a small fortune (£2k) but I am a stickler for always having to have the latest shiny stuff!
 
Giving my S25 Edge to the Wife & pre ordered the Fold 7 in Black with free Buds 3 Pro £1529.15 all in not bad with 15% work discount.
 
Was tempted but the specs even against my older Honor magic V3 are pretty lack luster.

Other than the slightly more polished OS there's nothing to gain :(
 
I just did switch up for the Fold 7 with O2, apparently you get a free upgrade to 1TB with preordering but on the o2 website it only said 256gb/512gb so I am assuming they do that automatically (fingers crossed)

It says get the 512gb for the price of the 256gb and get the 1tb for the price of the 512gb. So if you order the 1tb it costs the same as the 512gb.
 
Couldn't resist and got the Fold 7 512gb, free buds 3 pro and an extra £50 off with Samsung vouchers.

Watching few battery drain tests vivo is besr followed by oppo , Samsung with it's optimisation with 5000 or 5500 mah would really lead the way shame as when I used to buy Samsung that was the trend

Doesn't the oppo n5 not have 80w wired charging and 50W wireless, fold 7 25w wired and 15w wireless pretty sure that would be noticeable

I myself more excited for new Vivo and honor releases
 
Best I can get it down to is about £969 if I include the 15% TCB.

Update: I ordered one, used the double tablet trick. I paid a total of £979.15, no expensive trade ins

oh yeah that's where I got the 50w from, I have a 50W wireless charge in my car

I must admit the oppo does charge insanely quickly, but I've never really sat at home waiting for a lesser phone to charge wishing things would quicker :-P

oh yeah! annoyingly I went for the colour varient that didn't have 1TB available so I am stuck with 512gb!!! don't mind though as I am on switch up so I will end up swapping it later down the line.

I'm tempted as have Switch up, I love the S25 Ultra and the cameras are brilliant. However I really do miss the big folding screen.

You get £200 for any tablet (Must power on and doesn't have a smashed screen). The site allows you to trade in a tablet twice, so you'll need 2 tablets.

For anyone not buying from the EPP store, 10% off code do work for the main store

Ok, good job I didn't do 2 then, the other has a smashed screen.

Managed to get mine down to 1179
 
So looking forward to the Fold 7, then discovered there was no pen function. I would rather it was a mm thicker and included pen functionality. Going to skip this gen. Will probably look at the Honor Magic 5
 
I had the samsung case with the pen built in to it, I think I used it twice.

But then all I use my phone for is social media, answering emails and watching youtube.... I'm probably not the best example use case :-P
