Is there a way to set a 32 inch monitor in 27 inch mode? I know you can do this on Nvidia control panel but is there a way to do this with a Mac?

No need to worry, screen is in perfect condition, very well packaged.

Really solid heavy machined aluminium stand that needs a couple of screws. Then pop the screen onto the stand and attach with a single screw. Nice and adjustable, and solid.

The finish is very good without being Apple levels of polish. It's all metal, and solid, but the edges are probably a little sharper than on an Apple device.

The weird thing at the moment is that I've been using a curved screen for the past 3-4 years, and right now my eyes are really messed up and the scene looks convex to me. It's proper weird. I'm sure my eyes will adjust after a little while!

Glad I didn't opt for the 27", would be too small as a main screen. This feels like just the right size for a primary display.

Will post pics and thoughts a bit later, off to the gym now.

Not sure what you mean? Generally on Mac OS, Better Display is the way to tinker with any settings that Mac OS doesn't expose natively.
For example changing the image on the screen to a 27 inch size with black bars around it.

So let's say on a 4k 32 inch screen I can set the resolution as 1080p, however 32 inch is too big for 1080p so it would be nice to be able to change the image to 27 inches

On my 4K 32" screen I can set the resolution to 3008x1692 and that is perfect for me. I'm using a USB-C to DisplayPort cable.

Pretty swish. Better Display has sorted out the DDC controls for me so I can control brightness from the Magic Keyboard.

My brain is slowly getting used to the flatness. Still super weird how my brain is telling me it's convex but all the lines are straight.

That looks fantastic. What’s the display like? Nice and bright?
500 nits quoted. It's uncomfortably bright for me when at max, I have it at around 2/3 brightness.

The weird curve my brain is adding is slowly starting to disappear.

I've come from a 120hz VA panel, and initially the lower refresh rate and little bit of ghosting from the IPS panel was noticeable, but I've re-adjusted now.

The contrast is loads better, although there's some noticeable lightening in the corners on dark scene if you look for it.

10-bit color and 99% DCI-P3 so colors are excellent compared to my old screen. Need to borrow a calibrator and get it setup properly though.

The only gripe I have so far is that the remote control is absolute trash, it's like the worst, cheap nasty plastic remote I've ever handled. Works though, and lives in a drawer, so no big deal.

The resolution is just unreal though. Going back to a screen with visible pixels would be really jarring now. Looking at full screen photos is absolutely incredible, so much detail.
