No Man's Sky - Procedural space game

Just fired it up and was wondering, should i be able to get 75fps smooth gameplay from this on ultra at 1440p as it kinda fluctuates from 60-75fps, i dunno if its one setting or several to change for to get a constant fps.

Never really played it much this game as was gifted to me, and dont really like survival games or no story games but it suppose to have added one awhile ago so might try it more i dunno.

Specs are 1440p 75hz mon
6700xt
7600x cpu
32gig ram.

If they could ever be bothered to make the space flight control something like Elite, that could be fabulous.

As soon as I saw your name pop up I knew this was going to be something to do with joysticks or controls.
I don't think they will do that because they want to make this game fun and Elite is arguably a bit niche

But whose buying it who don’t already own it?

I just bought it.

I've played it before via Game Pass, but I've got the itch to revisit it now with all of the updates.

I could only speculate enough for them to keep producing the stuff. Although it's clearly test mechanics for Light no Fire too.

It's currently 8th in the Steam charts. Take out the Steam Deck & the games which generate most of their revenue through micro transactions, and NMS is fourth.

Not bad for a nine year old game

What's the point in this? is it jsut an exploring game? is it better to get on Switch 2 or Steamdeck?
