I got the account on hold and update payment email earlier today. Promptly hit the cancel membership button. The new UI really is that bad and I can live without it, even at less than £6 a month.
 
Thinking of subbing again, as a few new things I would like to watch, but always feel ripped off when I do :cry:
Not sure If I should go for adverts plan or standard no adverts.

Has the price increased recently as I can’t remember it being £12.99 for the standard no ads before.
 
Well the last few years in Turkey were fun. Looks like they are really cracking down. Most of the stuff that is any good (which is very little these days) can be obtained elsewhere so i think I'm done with it for now.

The great thing about Netflix when it first came out was that it was really the only show in town and there was a lot of stuff on there. Now every film/TV producing company in the world has their own streaming service so the bills rack up pretty fast if you subscribe to it all.

Shame it's not like the music streaming services where you have many platforms to choose with basically the same content. Can you imagine having to have different subscriptions for all the different music publishers and how that much that would cost?
 
It's too saturated now. They all got greedy, increasing prices with lower quality shows.

Seasons 1,2,3, 6 and 10 on one service. Missing seasons on another subscription platform.

Turkey method got scooped for me and I have no intention of subbing at UK prices due to the content being very middling for my tastes. Honestly I would even be dubious about subbing back at previous Turkish prices.
 
Netflix AI/algorithmically generated series 'hostage' for the USA electorate, to try and persuade them UK/eu has extensive political unrest, and that their
activities like storming of the Capitol hill are all normal - who watches this junk, if you have time to burn and free subscription maybe i would.

Best of it is I keep getting 'Come back to Netflix' emails advertising the Turkish price, which wont work. Good reminder to unsubscribe from emails, thanks Netflix.
 
After almost 5 years, my turkish netflix sub has been sussed. Won't bother re-subbing, the kids are all in on YouTube at the moment, and my wife would only be watching true crime tat on netflix by default - When I show her what's on our Disney+ sub, I imagine she'll probably quite happily migrate.

Yeah money is better spent on removing ads from YouTube! That's what I have done now
 
Starting to question the value on Netflix now.
To many recent disappointing shows. It worse. Shows which start good but end up dire.

Next price increase might crack me.

Would happily pay 14.99ish to have access to all streamers. But no one in particular is worth a monthly sub anymore

Already doing that one, I'm pretty sure at the moment I'm the only one using Disney+ as well, though I really like a lot of the stuff on there - Just not much time to watch it! I use a bit of Disney+ and a bit of YouTube a lot more than I use Netflix. I was keeping it because it was cheap and didn't want to rock the boat, but full 4k for £15 a month is nuts.

Spot on thanks Kelt, I watch a lot on browser, a fair bit on my PS5 too but to be honest I'm keen to move away from the sub if I don't need it. Appreciated.
