Games you're playing, and games...

I’ve bought Silkworm and I have enjoyed what I’ve played but I don’t think I will ever finish it. I made myself finish Hollow Knight and it took me ages to get there. I’ve not got the patience to bang my head 50 times against a boss anymore. I’ll carry on but if I hit a wall I feel it won’t take a lot for me to stop.

Yeah my sentiments exactly. I can't be bothered to learn the move patterns of the bosses, I want to zip through it ,hence why I'm probably dying a lot.

I've been gaming for about 40 odd years now and my patience is not what it used to be. Likely because it's a case of 'seen it all before', so the juice isn't worth the squeeze most of the time. Same reason why I can't handle Kojima's excessive cut scenes/dialogues any more.

Now and again though there's a game worth the effort.

I picked up Life is Strange Double Exposure for £12. I've really enjoyed all the LiS games, but this one was boring. The story never really went anywhere, was loads of problems with the story beats in my opinion and in the end I was just glad it was all over.

Giving Borderlands 3 another go and getting into it, but need to be careful I don't fall into the same problem of doing all the side missions and getting overwhelmed without progressing the story...
