That's an IBM "handheld"
I'd half started doing that. A mate was selling his Series X, so I grabbed that and sold my Series S on. Then bought used copies of the couple of games I do play most on a physical disc.I think I might do the old thing and buy games again
This subscription society for everything is becoming too much
Im far to casual a player fot these prices so GPU was great for me. Now I might do the math on a half decent PC machine and jsut pay for games.MS trying to kill off Xbox brand asap. Console sales so low most shops don't even sell them anymore, hardware price Increases, game pass price Increases and most games going multiplat. Probably worth getting out of Xbox to one of the alternatives at this point.
There revamping again with huge price increase.
Personally the addition of Fortnite Crew is useless nor am I arsed for Ubisoft games mostly.
I don’t see this as enough to justify cost increase.
Was always coming I felt but considering all this generation seems to be is “games cost allot pay is more” and manufacturers pleading poverty increases consol prices it’s just greedy imo
Saw this coming almost 2 years ago when Phil Spencer started with his mixed messaging on Xbox's future. I have absolutely zero regrets selling my Series X. I do feel sorry though for the Xbox fans who have been there since the beginning and have a large library of Xbox / 360 games. Hard to give up something you're heavily invested in ( from a financial and sentimental perspective ). To everyone else, get out while you can and pick a platform with a future.MS trying to kill off Xbox brand asap. Seriously ? That's going to kill a lot of ongoing subs then. They just changed it so you can no longer buy subs directly with the rewards points, as well.
Made that choice last year and have been buying all the games I want to play on Steam ( and the Playstation storefront for 1st party Sony titles / JRPGs ). Let's face it, most of us probably have a good idea what games we'll enjoy ... with some discipline and being prepared to wait 6 months or so for sales etc it works out cheaper for most than paying for a full year's subscription service.I suspect I’ll just go back to buying what I want to play.
