What film did you watch last night?

Pulp Fiction for me.

Half of the main cast of Reservoir Dogs have now passed away.

Pulp Fiction is a close second for me.

Some of it is better than Reservoir Dogs, no doubt. But I feel there is more fat in it, and it could have done with a little editing down, the "date" scene for example does nothing for me at all and seems to go on for ages, but there other bits.

I feel Reservoir Dogs is a better package of a movie, it sticks to the point a little more.

But it's just opinion and no doubt Pulp Fiction is also a bloody good movie.

My favourite is either Jackie Brown or Kill Bill V1.

The Materialists

We knew it was supposed to be some alternative take on rom cons, but never have I seen such unrealistic dialogue and interactions between people. The tone was all over the place as well. Do not recommend.

The Terminator. Even though I've watched the second one loads I don't think I've seen this one for 30 years. Still holds up pretty well apart from the scenes with his robot eye. Really good film and got me in the mood for some more Arnie classics.
You cant have too much Arnie.

Triple Frontier - 7/10

Decent film, seen it before and I’ll watch again at some point. It’s like Three Kings meets Sicario, not on par with either but easy to switch off and enjoy.

Tron Arse Ares 4/10

Looks pretty, but left me feeling cold. I don't connect with the characters or find the story engaging. The comedy elements in the latter half felt out of place too.

That's a shame, m,ight go see the new di caprio film instead.

Just watched Play dirty 2025 with Mark Wahlberg, Was pretty average, Decent cast but boring bad writing.
Not sure why Wahlberg takes these movies.

Hobbit Trilogy. Watched these over the last week no idea how many times I watched them now.I might be in the minority but I like these films. Azog really did a number on that family.

My personal opinion of that is the same as @krooton's opinion of Materialists. Don't bother, or rather, don't waste your time and money. Same with Urchin.

I Swear, however, is a different story and (I would say) worth seeing.
