I got confirmation emails straight away for both orders. One just sat processing for 10 days though. The other dispatched after 2 days.Ah ok thanks. Yes they've taken payment.
Did you get confirmation emails at all as I've had none?

Watercool itWell my 5090 has started having fan buzzing issues... again... this will be the 2nd time doing an RMA for the same exact issue. Card is fine but the company Zotac sources their fans from seem to be cheap crap.

What ever you do don’t skimp on lubeI have bad luck with tech in general, Adding WC into the mix would be like walking into a thunderstorm with a 50 foot tall conducting rod and saying "I'm totally safe"
It seems to have sorted itself out for now, Maybe some lubrication finally got into it.
I'd try the other monitor. DP can be funky with certain standby implementations I know. It's also true it can just completely get "hidden" to the GPU. Something that always used to bother me personally was programs like AnyDesk and a previous DP monitor(funnily enough think it was also gigabyte!) - you had the leave the monitor on else trying to remote into the PC would cause you to get no desktop due to how the software worked and the fact that the GPU couldn't see the monitor anymore. So just installed a new 5080FE in my secondary machine.
To cut a long story short, I get no output at all when connected via DP but it's fine on HDMI.
After a bit of Googling, it appears this is a known issue whereby the card doesn't detect the monitor when it's in standby.
A few people have recommended using the monitor's OSD to keep it "alive" while the computer boots but this doesn't work for me.
I'm thus stuck with HDMI which is unacceptable as Freesync doesn't work over that connection.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Is this a monitor specific issue? I have a fairly cheapo Gigabyte G27Q.
Yet to try connecting it to my other monitor to see if that works.
