Google Pixel 9 Series (9/9a/9 Pro/9 Pro XL/9 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 3)

Just had a code sent to me for 27% off as it's 27 years of Google. The pixel 9 is currently 689 on Google store, with 10 off and the extra 20% takes it down to 549.

On Amazon, the pixel 9 was 549 only a few days ago but now jumped up to 699!

How are they allowed to get away with these practices? If someone doesn't have a code, they're paying massively inflated price.

It does. I was hoping for it to go less than 500 this weekend as part of the birthday offer from Google but they've just moved the prices, not offered a discount at all.

They are probably price-matching someone's promotion. As soon as the promotion ends, they put it back to the normal price.

I've been waiting for a good price on the 9a to replace my mum's 6a for her, so when I got the email, off I went to the store... only to remember, it had been £100 off until recently, so now back to £500, even with the code it's still more than it was a short while ago. The current plan is to wait for Black Friday.

It's ******** is what it is. Just moving the price from one store to another. I suspect they only discounted the 9 by £10 to £689 on the Google store so that 27% makes it £549 which is what is was yesterday on the Amazon Google store.

The Pixel watch 3 Wear OS 6 is available for update too. Go to System update / check for update then tap on the little watch on the screen about 10 times if it does not start to update on it's own.

Seen EE have offer for £400 for the 9 for students with Student Beans. Can I be a scrounge and get one from someone please? :D:D

Edit: All good now, got one from a friend.

I'm really enjoying me 9a. My Moto G 66s died about six weeks ago, but it was getting a bit old and dated.

I was "lucky" to have my old phone crap out during the weekend of Google's 27th anniversay, so they were offering 20% off. So far, I can't compain at all, it's a bit smaller than my old Moto G, but it's really snappy and I'm glad I moved to this, rather than go with the Moto G86. It sucks that decent phones cost £400 these days, but I guess it is what it is

Anyone else have a phantom system update this morning? Woke up to see the system update screen and saying it needed to be rebooted but following the restart it didn't do the normal post update process and upon checking I'm still on October system update.
Very weird.

Yes

My 9 pro XL started showing a thin green line over the display last night - thank god for the 2 year guarantee. I rang John Lewis technical support, explained the problem and they were like "did you drop it?", "are you SURE you didn't drop it", "OK we'll pick it up next Monday, it'll be upto 28 days for repair... so you might have dropped it?" etc.

Ironically this is the first phone I've ever owned where I haven't accidentally dropped it at some point. Maybe I should have?

Got sent a code for £125 off from Google One if I buy a P10.. Expires quickly on the 10th.. So I wonder if there's better coming for Black Friday..
