Fuji X Series

Received the Viltrox 9MM last week after pre-ordering it from AliExpress. Will be interesting to compare this with my Fujifilm 8MM.

Fujifilm does not have as many third party options, but Sigma and Tamron do make some of their lenses available. The best value third party option is Viltrox IMHO.
Never heard of Viltrox, thank you. I'm currently looking at X-S10 and XT3.

X-T3 would be my pick, just for the top dials and retro aesthetic. S10 to me loses some of the Fuji charm with its regular camera controls.

X-S10 is a more modern camera with X-T4 internals (and IBIS too, it is like the cheapest IBIS body you can get in the lineup that has quite modern internals besides the XH1 which is a couple gen older, like XT2 era) but what really annoys me from Day 1 and never got used to is I was unable to reset the focus point by pressing down the joystick. Not sure sure Fuji did that.

Can you not reprogram the focus to another button?

It is set and FIXED that reset to the BACK button. It's the bottom button on the back. The issue is 2 fold. 1, every other camera I have, both Fuji or Sony, let me reset the focus point to center by pressing in the stick. So muscle memory has already been there for decade of use. 2, that button is totally flushed to the body, so it is almost impossible to press it when i want to by feel every single time. Whereas I know I have my thumb on the stick every single time.

I have looked into remapping it, and trust me, you can't. I even spoke to Fuji rep at the photography show and moaned about this to them a couple years ago. They could fix this with a firmware update but it's not going to happen now.

I am leaning towards the X-T3 still looking at the nikkon aswell to many choices!
